Mother’s love prevails, says CM Mehbooba on Majid’s surrender

Srinagar: Soon after reports came that footballer turned militant Majid Arshid Khan surrendered before 1st RR last Thursday night, CM Mehbooba Mufti took to social networking site Twitter and wrote how mother’s love brought back his son.

“A mother’s love prevailed. Her impassioned appeal helped in getting Majid, an aspiring footballer back home. Every time a youngster resorts to violence, it is his family which suffers the most,” she wrote on her Twitter handle.
