Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has summoned vice chairman Skeikh-ul-Alam hospital to remain present before it on Friday.
“The center of controversy is the certificate issued by the Vice Chairman Sheikh-ul-Alam hospital. It is in the same background the record was directed to be produced,” said a bench of Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir while hearing a case— Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Malik Vs Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission.  JKPSC counsel, Azhar-ul-Amin, produced the record in a sealed cover and on opening the same, the court found that the certificate which Dr. Saud lateefChesti, respondent in the case, had submitted along-with his application as was required has not been produced. The record as produced was again sealed in the open court and handed over back to Commission’s counsel who was also asked by the court to ensure production of the certificate, shown  to have been issued by Sheikh-ul-Alam hospital.
“Vice Chairman Sheikh-ul-Alam hospital was also directed to produce the records which he has but same is deficient. The Vice Chairman Sheikh-ul-Alam hospital be summoned, to remain personally present on the next date along with records pertaining to the petitioner,” the court said and posted the case on Friday.
