Srinagar, Nov 16: Security force launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on Thursday morning in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said here.

They said 13 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation this morning following a tip off about the presence of militants at village Garoora, Bandipora.

All exit points were sealed by the security forces and search operation was launched, they said, adding that so far, no contact was established with the militants. (INS)
