A lady was killed after being hit by a Belero Car at Ahmad Nagar soura area of Srinagar. The accused has been arrested and is an Assistant Commissioner Revenue posted at Bandipora.
Police Official said the accused driver has been identified as Masarat Hashim Khan
S/o Mohd Hashim R/o Lalbazar Srinagar who was arrested after the incident and an FIR 98/2017 US 279,304A RPC has been registered in the police station Soura.
When contacted SHO soura Ayaz Rasool said that the deceased lady identified as Lal Jana resident of Ahmadnagar.
SHO also said that the accused is a KAS officer and is posted in Bandipora as Assistant commissioner Revenue ( ACR) has been arrested.
