Restrictions in city parts as valley shuts

Srinagar: While shutdown is being observed in Valley after Joint Resistance Leadership to mark Oct 27 as ‘black day’, restrictions have been imposed in areas of Srinagar  under jurisdictions of seven police stations.
Rainawari, Nowhatta, Khanyar, Safakdal, M R Gunj, according to district administration, partial restrictions will be imposed in in Kralkhud and Maisuma areas.

JRL is a joint body of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik.

“Its unlikely that friday prayers will be let to offer at central mosque Jama Masjid Nowhatta. No compromises will be made in respect to law and order situation,” an official told INS.
