Srinagar: An eight class student was ‘kidnapped’ from his courtyard  by unknown persons last night in Kanjinag village of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Protests erupted in the area today.

Reports qouting family of the boy, Muneez Javed, they heard him shout “Abbu” however after the family rushed out they could not find him.

“We rushed out of the house but there was no one around, even Muneeza was missing,” family was quoted in reports saying.
