Srinagar: Parvez Ahmed, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Bank, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday.
Ahmed apprised the Governor about the steps initiated by the Bank in the past year for expanding its services and increasing its infrastructure, particularly for promoting digital economy.
Governor discussed with Chairman the need for the Bank to provide targeted financial support to identified segments of the State’s economy especially under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, and stressed the Bank’s high responsibility to play a pivotal role in speeding up the growth and development of the State
