Kashmir premier league: Three matches played

Srinagar: Downtown Dynamites AlKharj won against Anantnag Avengers Abha by 4 wickets. Batting 1st AAA could manage only 115, with the top Score 52 in 27 balls by Ishfaq Qadir, while Airf Malik took 3 wickets while conceding only 15 runs in 4 overs.

In reply DDK chased the target in 19.3 overs losing 6 wickets. Arif Malik was the heighest scorrer from DDK, with 57 in 39 balls.

Man of the match was awarded to Arif Malik & performer of the match award was given to Ishfaq Qadir.

In the second match of the day, Baramullah Bashers Nofa won against Srinagar Strikers Jeddah.

BBN won the toss & elected to bat first and put up a score of 181 for 6 in allotted 20 overs.

In reply SSJ were given good start by their openers Bilal Wani & Samiullah Najar . Samiullah Najar scored a quick fire with 64 in 35 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes.

But in the end other batsmen of SSJ couldn’t keep up with scoring rate & lost by 11 Runs.

Man of the match was Qamar Khan & performer of the match award was given to Samiullah Najar

Last match of the KPL week 1 was played between Rajbagh Royals Riyadh vs VS Rawlakot Rangers Jubail.

RRR won the toss & decided to bat 1st and put 143 runs on board.

Middle order blazed as Syed Gowher scored 48 in in 27 balls.

In reply RRJ were bundled out for 130.

Top scorer for RRJ was 37 in 28 balls by Sohail Latif.

This match was surpiser for the KPL-1 as RRR were considered as underdogs & were playing for fun but with such performance Royals are sending clear message to all team that it is not going to be easy play against RRR.

Dr. Sadat Bashir bowled a wonderful spell by taking 1 wicket & giving just 19 runs in 4 overs. Also a match winning bowling spell of Sabzar Bhat,2 wickets 18 runs in 4 overs.

Man of the match Syed Gowher & performer of the match award was given to Tanvir Bhat.
