He is ‘news’ all around, already.

The 17-year old Shaheen Afridi had a brilliant eight-wicket haul in his first-class debut recently, while representing the Khan RL against Rawalpindi in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (Pakistan’s domestic tournament), NDTV said.

With Shaheens ability to swing ball both ways, bowling looked an easy skill during the domestic match and as he takes first-class cricket in Pakistan by storm, national call-up seems not too far for the young chap.

At 16, Shahid Khan Afridi smashed Sri Lankan bowlers all over the ground to notch up his blistering ton off just 37 balls. Afridi’s record dominated the fastest century chart for 20 years.
