Srinagar: Police Station Achabal arrested a seminary teacher accused of sodomising a student in the institute.

Police had received a written complaint from one person (name withheld) that a teacher had unnatural sex with his brother at a Dar-ul-uloom in Achabal.

Soon after the complaint, a police team headed by SHO Achabal arrested the accused namely Sadam Hussain Khatana resident of Oho Paison Uttersoo involved in this crime.

A case FIR number 131/2017 under section 377, 342, 506 RPC was registered against him in Police Station  Achabal and investigation has been taken up.
