Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesdayordered transfer of four senior police officers with Vidhi Kumar Birdi (IPS) posted as DIG, North Kashmir Range,  with immediate effect.
According to a government order, Nitish Kumar (IPS; JK: 1999), IGP, who was looking after the assignment of DIG, NKR, Baramulla, has been transferred and asked to await further orders in the Home Department.
Ashkoor Ahmad Wani (IPS; JK: 1999), IGP looking after the assignment of DIG, JKS Range, has been transferred and posted as IGP CIV PHQ, against an available vacancy.
Vidhi Kumar Birdi (IPS; JK: 2003), awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as DIG, NKR, Baramulla, upon transfer of Nitish Kumar.
Rafeequl Hassan (IPS; JK: 2005), I/C DIG Armed, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as I/C DIG, JKS Range upon transfer of Ashkoor Ahmad Wani.
