Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum today holds blood donation camp at DIET Bemina Srinagar to commemorate the 25th year of its establishment.

The teachers forum chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani said that 500 teachers voluntarily donated blood in the camp.

“The blood will be supplied to the hospitals and  many hospitals were present at the camp to collect blood,” Wani said.

Director School Education Dr. Ghulam Nabi Itoo while speaking to INS said: They have been all long been on front as a role model, but I think this blood donation camp has added to their glory, it is all related to sacrifice for others.

Director added, “I appreciate that the huge participation of our employees in this camp. I am sure blood units collected from this camp will save many lives.”

Among others Farooq Ahmad Shah Secretary Education, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Abid Rashid Shah Srinagar where also present on the occasion.
