Srinagar:  Aneesa, a student of 12th class in commerce stream at GHSS Narbal brought laurels to the State by winning International Karate Cup-2018 held at Ahmadabad, Gujrat in 43 kg category.
Aneesa won the Gold Medal by beating her competitor in the final at Ahmadabad, Gujarat. The event was organized by International Shotokan Karate Union, India.
Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo has congratulated Aneesa on her grand success. In his congratulatory message, DSEK has said that the students of Kashmir are very talented and full of capabilities, they just need resources to channelize their talent in right direction.
DSEK said that Aneesa is an example for the young students for taking Sports as their career and making it big. Dr. Itoo has also congratulated the parents, the coach and all others associated with the success of Aneesa.
DSEK has said that the dedication and hard work has paid for Aneesa and she has brought laurels to the State by winning the Championship. The youth of the State also need to work hard to achieve their goals in any field of life, DSEK added.
