Jammu: A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) constable was killed and six others injured in suspected fratricidal killing in a paramilitary force camp near the Jawahar Tunnel in Ramban district of Jammu on Wednesday. Police sources said an slain was an Assistant Sub-Inspector of the SSB.
 “We are verifying whether it was a militant attack or a case of fratricide. There was firing under suspicious circumstances in an SSB camp in Banihal belt of Ramban district this evening,” said SSP (Ramban) Mohan Lal said.
He said that Lal saida soldier was killed and another injured in the firing. However sources said that six soldiers were injured.
Sources said that SSB is deployed in the Banihal for protection of a construction company involved in setting up of a rail tunnel.
