Srinagar:  A complete shutdown is being observed in New Theed Harwan areas of Srinagar on first death anniversary of Nasir Shafi Qazi, who was found dead near the Dachigam National park, in the evening of September 16 last year.

The pellet-ridden body of 11-year old Nasir was recovered from Harwan after he went missing after clashes between government forces  and protesters had erupted in the area.

The 7th standard student of Greenlight School Ishber, locals claimed that, his body bore pellet injuries and marks of torture.

Police personnel in large number is present in the area and movement in the area is being restricted.
