Srinagar: President Kashmir Bar Association Mian Qayoom returned to Srinagar today after National Investigation Agency gave him ‘clean chit’.Qayoom drove straight to lower court Battamaloo where he was greeted by lawyers.
Qayoom thanked lawyers for their support.
“After questioning for about six hours on second consecutive day, the NIA gave clean chit to President (KHCBA) M A Qayoom,” a spokesman of the lawyers’ body said on Friday.
Qayoom with his team of seven Advocates was in Delhi after he was summoned by NIA.
Qayoom told lawyers that he was shown pictures of the lawyers protest by the officials of NIA while being questioned there.
