LeT commander killing aftermath: restriction in place, life paralyzed in parts of city

Srinagar: Restrictions remain in place in parts of old city, Srinagar, in the wake of killing two Lashkar e taiba militants including top commander Abu Ismael on Thursday.

“Prohibitory orders have been passed for areas stations of Khanyar, Rainawari, Nowhatta, M.R. Gunj and Safa Kadal following the killing of two LeT militants,” official sources said.
The LeT duo were killed in a brief gunfight in Aribagh Nowgam area of city outskirts.
