Ganderbal: A police constable received injuries after his service rifle went off accidentally at Police Training School PTS, Manigam in Ganderbal district, on Wednesday.
Station House officer Ganderbal Tariq Ahmad told INS that the injured cop is a head constable Farooq Ahmad Belt no 10/PTS and is posted at PTS Manigam. “He was cleaning his rifle when the rifle went off injuring his left foot,” Tariq said.
The injured cop has been was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment,.
