Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered an inquiry into delay and negligence in appointment of arbitrators in a case on Mughal road project.
According to an order, the government appointment Hirdesh Kumar (IAS), Commissioner Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department as the Inquiry officer to enquire into the delay/negligence in appointment of arbitrators and proceedings in the Arbitration case titled HCC India Pvt. Ltd. V/s Jt. Development Commissioner Works/Ex-officio Chief Engineer Mughal Road Project.
“The Inquiry Officer shall submit his report within a period of one month from the date of issuance of this order,” the government said and directed the Public Works (R&B) Department and Chief Engineer, Mughal Road Project to provide all the requisite records to the Inquiry Officer.
