Anantnag: Protestors torched a police vehicle after the solidarity march for Rohingya Muslims turned violent on Friday, two cops have also recieved injuries in the clash.
“Miscreants set on fire a police vehicle. Two cops are injured,” police said.
According to local sources the solidarity march was taken out from Jamiat Ahl e Hadees Jamia Masjid at Sherbagh, Islamabad.
“As the march reached near Lal chowk police confronted people and lobbed tear gas canisters,” an eyewitness told INS.
Clashes erupted between youth and police at Lal chowk.
