Ganderbal: Body of a woman from Nawakadal was recovered from river Jhelum in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District on Thursday.
The body of at Kharbagh Batwina in Wakura tehsil of Rubeena Akhtar (45) wife of Bilal Ahmad Bhat of Nawakadal Srinagar, according to police was recovered from river Jhelum at Kharbagh Batwina in Wakura tehsil of the district.
Rubeena, according to reports, had jumped into the river Jhelum in Srinagar last evening.
