Death toll in the building collapse in Mumbais Byculla area has reached ten, including three women and dozens have been injured while at least 17 people have been rescued on Thursday.
Teams of the NDRF and the Fire Brigade are at the spot engaged in rescue operations.
Reports qouting MLA Amin Patel said that a notice to vacate the building was issued by authorities to tenants before hand as the structure of the building was old and frequent complaints of leakages were being recieved. Almost half of the tenants had left the building.
Patel, as qouted in media reports, said that six families were living in the building.
