Consumers Rights Day Observed in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: In order to make the consumers aware about their rights and responsibilities, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Ganderbal organized a function in connection with Consumer Rights Day observed across the state on Tuesday.

The event was held at Mini Secretariat, DC Office Complex Ganderbal from where a rally started and ended at  Towheed Chowk duderhama Ganderbal.

The participants in the rally distributed pamphlets that educated general public about their rights and how they get cheated in market.

The Rally was presided by Iram khan, Assistant Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Ganderbal.

Stressing the need for holding awareness camps frequently, A.D Food, CAPD, Ganderbal, said that the department is working tirelessly for making consumers well aware about their rights besides protecting them from unfair trade practices.
