Soon after India claimed to have reached an agreement with its neighbor China to disengage troops at Doklam, Chinese foreign ministry said “Indian forces have already withdrawn to the Indian side of border”.
On Monday the ministry of external affairs shot a brief statement claiming both the countries have reached an agreement.
“On this basis, expeditious disengagement of border personnel at the face-off site at Doklam has been agreed to and is on-going,” the statement said.
Rueters quoted the Chinese foreign ministry saying that the Indian forces have already withdrawn to Indian side of the borders.
“Chinese forces will continue to patrol in Doklam region,” China foreign ministry says, as quoted by Rueters.
