Eleven people have died and more than 200 people are injured in Panchkula alone as violence escalated after conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim Singh in a Rape case on Friday.

According to media reports hospitals are swamped with injured. Fire engine was torched; vehicles of media persons were also damaged, while media reports said that one OB van of a media house was set on fire.

Meanwhile, Indian capital Delhi has been put on high alert due to escalation of violence and train services in Jammu too have been suspended.
