Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir on Friday directed all Deputy Commissioners to check attendance of all employees on regular basis in their respective districts.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Khan also called for taking action under against the employees who are found unauthourizedly absent.
“It has been observed that due seriousness is not being accorded by the controlling  officers to these circular instructions, for taking immediate and appropriate action against the officers and officials staying away from their legitimate duties without prior permission,” an spokesman said in a statement issued here.
Khan has from time to time passed the instructions through h various circulars to strictly adhere to office timings and advocated for improving their work culture.
“The order was passed to improve the work culture and punctuality in government offices,” he said.
