Ganderbal: A worker at a tiles factory was crushed to death and another was critically injured on  Thursday in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Amir Ahmad Malik Son of Gulam Mohammad Malik from Lari Prang Kangan died  after he was caught in between the belt and the machine at Hafiz Tiles  Factory Pvt. Limited in Chinar Kangan.
Amir according to co workers was rushed to Trauma hospital Kangan where doctors declared him brought dead.
A co worker Bashir Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh Kachnambal Kangan was critically injured in the accident and was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
People protested against lack of medical facilities in the area.
