Div Com Jammu reviews progress of hydroelectric power projects in Kishtwar

The Divisional Commissioner directed the Deputy Commissioner, DC, Kishtwar to take immediate steps for removing the bottlenecks in the execution of Hydroelectric power projects in Kishtwar district  including land acquisition, disbursement of compensation to land owners and construction of approach roads.

Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari today reviewed the status of work on upcoming projects in Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar.

The DC informed that the list of cases for land compensation has been sent to Tehsildar for verification for verification and after that the process of disbursement would be started. He further said that work would be expedited to complete the projects within stipulated time frame.
