Srinagar: The State Government on Saturday appointed Jitendra Kumar Singh (IAS), Additional Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, as Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
The 2008-batch IAS officer has been posted Ajeet Kumar Sahu (IAS) who has been asked to await orders of posting in General Administration Department till his departure on foreign training.
The transfer comes two weeks after the 40-day-long annual Amarnath pilgrimage concluded with 2,60,003 paying obeisance at the cave shrine.
