Srinagar 7: Opposition National Conference has called for ‘open ended’ and comprehensive dialogue for resolution of Kashmir issue.
Interacting with senior leader and former Indian Minister, Yashwant Sinha, who called on the, National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah in Srinagar, reiterated the party’s stand that open-ended and comprehensive dialogue was the only way forward to ensure peace and reconciliation in the State.
They also reiterated the party’s stand on Article 35-A, which protects state subject laws within Indian Constitution and the State’s Special Status, a party spokesman said. The National Conference opposes abrogation of Article 35A, maintaining that it will invite severe reaction from people of the state.
