Srinagar: Distancing itself from the Amarnath Yatra attack, Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Tuesday said that India is accusing them as culprits without any evidence.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as saying, “India is a terrorist country and is keeping terrorism it as their National Policy.”
“India, after attacking Amarnath Pilgrims themselves, accused us as the culprit without any evidence. We must make it clear that our target is only the Armed Forces. We never attacked civilians before,” he said.
He said that Ajit Doval’s doctrine aims to accuse others while hiding their evil mischievous activities.
“We would like to convey a message to Indian masses that Indian Army is a terrorist army which has mercilessly martyred over 5 million Kashmiris until now in Jammu Kashmir.
“The attack on Pilgrims is also their plot. If IGP Kashmir submits himself to us for a day, he would confess that India was behind the attack on World Trade Center while the attackers were trained by India,” he said. (KNS)
