Srinagar: United Jihad Council (UJC) on Monday said that after failing before militant and political leadership the Indian government is hatching a ‘murderous conspiracy against the resistance leaders of Kashmir’.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying that “Despite blinding and killing the people, RSS government under a well thought murderous conspiracy is trying to defame and kill the resistance leaders of Kashmir.”
“Shabir Ahmad Shah in the torture cell is being deprived of basic facilities, which is the glaring example of Indian tactic thereby has put the life of Shah at risk,” he said.
UJC chief said that the ‘ill treatment’ with the other detainees including Aasiya Andrabi, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Shahid-ul-Islam, Peer Saifullah, Ayaz Akbar and others is condemnable.
“The people of Kashmir have full faith on the leadership and such tactics won’t erase the trust of people,” he said, adding that such tactics will never prove successful to India.
UJC later appealed Pakistan government aware world community about Kashmir situation to play their role into the matter. He also appealed rights bodies to play their role in stopping the ill treatment with the leaders.
Meanwhile, as per statement, in the high level meeting of United Jihad Council, tributes were paid to the militants and civilians killed since past week. (KNS)
