Srinagar: All the educational institutes in the Kashmir valley will be closed down Wednesday (tomorrow) following the killing of two LeT militants, a civilian in Pulwama district.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Khan, told KNS that all the educational institutes will be closed tomorrow “as a precautionary measure”.
Khan said that restrictions may be imposed in “sensitive” places in the valley where the administration has “apprehensions of law and order and disturbance”.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police, Munir Khan, told KNS that police will assess the situation in the evening and impose restrictions as per the reports and assessment.
“We will take all necessary measures to prevent disturbance and damage to public property and life,” the IGP told KNS. (KNS)
