Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Thursday said that India is trying to label the legitimate freedom struggle of Kashmir as terrorism by implying terror groups like Al-Qayeda and ISIS into the Valley.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying that “Ajit Doval’s doctrine is upto this conspiracy.”
“We would like to inform the masses that the Mujahideen groups, with their mutual understanding and unity, are fighting against Indian forces. On the other hand, groups such as Al-Qayeda and ISIS are being brought up to label the legitimate freedom struggle as terrorism,” he said, adding that Al-Qayeda and ISIS thrive on Takfeer.
“All they have done has just greatly affected the Muslims and brought upon them the Injustice, brutality and oppression. This Fitna is way more dangerous than that of India’s,” LeT chief said.
He said that India has lost its war on Kashmir. “The Indian conspiracies are being foiled ever since the locals and Hurriyat leaders forged unity amongst themselves. India is trying to collapse this alliance but we will not let it happen at any cost,” he said.
Shah condemned the ‘illegal arrests’ of Hurriyat leader Shabir Ahmad Shah, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Masarat Alam, Aasia Andarabi, Dr. Muhammad Qasim Faktu and others and termed their arrest as ‘human rights violation’.
“India is trying to compensate its defeat by imposing violence on innocent Kashmiris. Thousands of children orphaned, women raped, while hundreds of score have been pellet-blinded. Despite these atrocities and our sacrifices, we shall not back down. Our ambitions are high. Our youth is ready to take up arms against illegal Indian occupation. India should give up its dream of ever occupying Kashmir. The freedom is our glory and we shall have it,” he added. (KNS)
