Srinagar: First they kill and then disallow mourning and shower pellets and bullets on mourners. Is this the democracy Indian leaders and their stooges propagate and follow? This was stated by the chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik while strongly condemning the brutal killing of a minor girl at Zainpora Shupian and after-wards injuring dozens of mourners by bullets and pellets.
While terming this killing and assault on people as most condemnable act, JKLF chairman said that a small kid was crushed with impunity and when grief stricken people protested against this killing, police and forces showered bullets and pellets on them, injuring dozens of mourners.
Similarly police SOG last night raided some residential houses at Hajan Bandipora during night hours, resorted to heavy tear gas shelling and aerial firing and thrashed whosoever came their way including the elderly father of JKLF district organizer Mushtaq Ahmad Wani.
Police and SOG also tried to arrest peaceful political activist Mushtaq Ahmad Wani and assaulted his family ruthlessly injuring many of them.
While condemning this brutal behavior of Police, SOG, army and forces, JKLF chairman said that oppressors’ mindset has engulfed all the forces and now they have started killing and thrashing people on petty things and killing of an elderly person at Bijbihara on a mere argument is a glaring example of this behavior.
Yasin Malik strongly condemned this growing oppression and appealed the human rights bodies of the world to take a serious note of these human right violations. (KNS)
