Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front’s (JKLF) Zonal President, Noor Muhammad Kalwal Monday said that condemned the recent attacks on people at Trehgam Kupwara, Shupian, Pulwama, Tral, Budgam, Pantha Chowk and other places of the Valley.
Condemning the nocturnal attack of Police SOG, Army, CRPF and other forces at whole Trehgam Kupwara village last night, JKLF zonal president according to the statement issued to KNS said that besides beating people including men, women, children and elderly, forces arrested about a dozen innocents including some shopkeepers and shifted them to some unknown incarceration center.
“Beating people without any discrimination, destroying people’s properties, crops, orchards, vehicles and other property are common practice of police and other forces and this state sponsored terrorism has now engulfed the whole valley,” Kalwal said.
He said that “attacking eyes of people by pellets and raiding their houses during nights has terrorized whole valley and Indian occupational forces are using these tactics to frighten Kashmiris and defeat their resolve and passion.”
Kalwala said that yesterday he along with a delegation visited SMHS hospital where Irfan Ahmad and Javed Ahmad from Trehgam and Anees Ahmad and Sarah Bano from Shupian are admitted whose eyes have been hit by Indian pellets. “The plight of these people and brutal attack on them shows that India, its Kashmiri stooges and their forces only believe in unleashing terror against common people and all this is being done in order to strengthen the military occupation of India on Jammu Kashmir,” he said.
He said that “today forces caught hold of a driver at Pantha Chowk and without any provocation beat him to pulp. Similarly many young boys in Tral were beaten mercilessly by these terrorist forces who were later hospitalized for their injuries.”
Kalwal said that this ‘state sponsored terrorism’ cannot deter people of Kashmir from pursuing the path of resistance and “we pledge to take forward the mission of our martyrs to its desired goal.”
While paying tributes to Irfan Ahmad Malik of Wurwan Pulwama, a JKLF delegation led by of Javaid Ahmad Bhat visited his family and expressed solidarity with them. (KNS)
