Home Department notifies territorial jurisdiction of Police Post Rangreth

SRINAGAR: Home department today notified territorial jurisdiction of Police Post Rangreth Srinagar.
According to the notification, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause(0) of the Sub-Section (1) of section 4 of the code of criminal Procedure, Samvat, 1989 read with rule 469 of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Rules, 1960, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir hereby notifies the territorial jurisdiction of police post Rangreth, Srinagar. The Police Post Rangreth Srinagar shall function under the overall supervision of Police Station Saddar Srinagar, it added.
The villages to form jurisdiction of Police Post Rangreth Srinagar are Rangreth, Hill View Colony, Wawoosa, Chack Wawoosa, Radio Colony, Wanbal Shirpora, Hajam Mohalla Rawalpora, Tantray Mohalla Rawalpora, Check-e- Rawalpora, Alamdar Colony, Yayil, Baghwanpora, Check Gogoo, Sanat Nagar Chowk, Watalpora, Gulzarpora, Iqbal Colony, al-Farooq Colony, Hakeem Colony, Azad Colony, Qayoom Colony, Canal Enclave, Wanbal Rawalpora, Hill View Colony, Astanpora, Afandi Bagh, hakeem Bagh, Bank Colony, Noorani Colony, Parbagh Rawalpora, Wali Colony Rawalpora, Damodar (Kareewa) and Chak-e- Baghwanpora.
