Manchester: President of Pakistan-administrated Kashmir (PaK) Sardar Masood Khan has urged the United Kingdom to play its role in resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute.
Addressing a function in Manchester on Saturday, he also asked United Kingdom being a permanent member of the Security Council to help make the role of world body more effective and vigorous, reports said.
He said United Kingdom should take notice of ‘human rights violations by Indian troops’ in Kashmir.
Earlier, talking to the newly elected members of the House of Commons in Bradford, PaK President urged them to raise their ‘voices for the fundamental rights of Kashmiris’.
Sardar Masood Khan also lauded Pakistan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for their steadfast support for the cause of Kashmir .
