Srinagar: The government is declaring summer vacation in all government and private schools till higher secondary level for ten days beginning July 6 to 15.
“There will be a 10 days summer vacation in schools from July 6 to 15,” a government official told KNS.
The official said the order regarding the summer vacations will be issued tomorrow.
He said that the decision has to be complied by all the schools, including private schools. “If any private school violates the decision, the government will take strict action against the schools,” he said.
The 10-days vacation coincides with the six-day protest programme announced by UJC chief Syed Sallahudin on the first death anniversary of Hizb commander Burhan Wani, which is on July 8. (KNS)
