Shawwal moon sighted in Srinagar; Eid Al Fitr in JK on Monday

Srinagar:”Shawwal’s crescent moon has been sighted in Srinagar and other parts of Jammu and Kashmir, which means Eid starts on Monday, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramzan” according to reports.
Eid will be observed this year amid widespread violence, with people getting killed and pro-freedom protests being repressed almost daily in the past three months in Kashmir.
