ISIS, Al-Qaida have nothing to do with our movement: Resistance leadership

Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik has announced, as in past, to observe Juma-tul-Vida as Youm-e-Quds and Youm-e-Kashmir this year as well. On this day voice of protest would be raised in Masjids, Khankhas, Shrines, Imam Badas and Shrines across the Valley against the atrocities being committed by Indian forces on people of Kashmir and for reclaiming of Bait-ul-Maqdas and Masjid-e-Aqsa. A resolution in this regard would also be presented in the gatherings for the endorsement of the people.
In a statement issued to KNS, leadership has said that where the people of Palestine have been struggling for the past many decades the people of Kashmir too have been giving huge sacrifices in terms of life and property for the exercise of the right to self determination.
The leadership has expressed dismay over the indifference of the International towards these burning issues. They said that these two issues have a quite resemblance, where issue of Palestine has been posing threat to the peace of entire Middle East, the unresolved Kashmir issue is a big challenge for the permanent peace and stability of South Asia. In both regions the people are facing aggression as a result, human lives are loss and grave human rights violations are being committed on regular basis.
The leadership has stressed upon the United Nations, OIC and other countries of the international community to play a positive role in the resolution of both these issues. (KNS)
