Srinagar: Amid curfew and shutdown, army Sunday said that more than a thousand candidates appeared in the recruitment in army for various jobs.
“Defying the two day bandh call given by various factions of inimical bodies, out of 815 candidates, 800 appeared at Pattan and 493 out of 502 appeared at Srinagar,” Army PRO in Kashmir, Rajesh Kalian told KNS.
He said that the Common entrance written examination was held for selection of Soldier Grade, Technical, tradesmen in the Indian army being conducted at Srinagar & Pattan today.
“All who are ‘interested in their life and career are seeking’ and not falling prey to bandh and abetted turmoil,” he said. (KNS)
