Jammu, Mar 23: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday said that more than 350 films have been shot in Jammu and Kashmir during the past five years.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the inaugural function of Tawi film utsav here, LG Sinha, according to KNO said,” I always say peace is directly linked with development. The peaceful environment has allowed people to develop interest in the Bollywood.”

Referring to the new film policy introduced in the Union Territory, LG Sinha said, “The new policy was framed to ensure that it matches the present requirements. It has also helped in attracting the film makers to J&K.”

He saud that Tawi film utsav will encourage local artists to pursue their goals with a new approach.
