Over the past few weeks, multiple firing incidents have been reported along the LoC. On February 14, an Indian Army soldier was injured in a suspected sniper fire in the Keri area of Akhnoor sector.

On February 10, another soldier sustained a bullet injury in Nowshera sector, Rajouri. On February 11, an explosion near the LoC in Akhnoor sector claimed lives of two soldier including an officer, while another was injured.
