Pir Panjal Winter Festival Volleyball Tournament Kicks Off in Poonch

Poonch, Feb 16: The Under-21 Girls & Under-25 Boys Volleyball Tournament, a flagship event of the Pir Panjal Winter Festival, officially commenced on 15 Feb 2025 with a grand opening ceremony.

The festival, which is being celebrated from February 9 to March 31, 2025, aims to promote youth participation in sports, cultural preservation, and social reformation.

The volleyball tournament has brought together teams from across Poonch district, showcasing their dedication and competitive spirit. The event serves as a platform to nurture young talent and provide aspiring athletes with the exposure they need to excel.

“The Pir Panjal Winter Festival is a shining example of the enduring partnership between the Army and the populace. We firmly believe that sports can bridge gaps, foster understanding, and promote harmony.”

The festival will feature a diverse range of events, including sports tournaments, cultural performances, and exhibitions.
