Voting for phase-1 of Assembly Elections begin in J&K

Srinagar, Sep 18: The voting for Phase-1 of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections commenced on Wednesday morning with people in large numbers turing up at polling station.

A total of 24 Assembly Constituencies with 219 candidates in the electoral fray are going to poll today.

The authorities have informed that a large number of people are turning up at the polling stations to cast their ballots.

“Voting going on smoothly at 100% of polling stations, and the enthusiasm is high! People are coming out in large numbers to make their voices heard,” information and PR Kulgam wrote on X.
