Since its inception, Paras Health Srinagar has focused on providing quality healthcare in the valley, with compassion, affordability, and accessibility as its corner stones. The hospital has worked diligently to address the healthcare needs of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

While the region has existing medical facilities, many residents often sought treatment in distant cities for advanced surgeries and specialized care. Paras Health Srinagar has evolved as a preferred choice by offering quality healthcare services locally, making it more convenient for the residents to access the care they need without having to travel far.

Over the past year, Paras Health Srinagar has made remarkable strides in treating a wide range of medical conditions, with several complex surgeries and procedures being successfully executed.

The hospital’s team of experienced doctors and medical professionals have handled critical cases, including life-saving procedures, limb salvage surgeries, oncological procedures, and neurosurgical interventions to name a few.

The hospital has successfully managed several complex medical cases, highlighting its growing reputation in the valley. Among these, an elderly patient with a massive heart attack and comorbidities underwent a successful primary angioplasty, demonstrating the hospital’s expertise in handling critical cardiac cases locally.

Another case of a 19-year-old male diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma received corrective surgery and chemotherapy at Paras Health, leading to a positive outcome. In the field of oncology, the hospital performed a successful liver resection on a patient with CLD and Hepatitis B-positive liver disease.

Beyond its clinical successes, Paras Health Srinagar has been deeply involved in community outreach and health awareness initiatives. Over the past year, the hospital has organized nearly 100 health camps across various districts of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, reaching approximately 2,500 people. These camps have provided essential health services and education to communities in remote areas, including Bandipora, Kupwara, Anantnag and Kargil.

In addition, the hospital has conducted numerous Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, engaging close to 1,000 doctors in the region. These sessions have focused on enhancing the competency of healthcare professionals and keeping them updated on the latest medical advancements.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Santy Sajan emphasized the hospital’s commitment to providing accessible and reliable healthcare to the people of Jammu & Kashmir. “Paras Health Srinagar was established to make quality healthcare services available to everyone in the region. We have made significant progress over the past year, and we remain dedicated to serving our community with integrity and compassion,” she said.
