Young Shepherd Injured In Mine Blast Along LoC In Poonch

Poonch, May 25: A 25-year-old shepherd was injured in a mine blast along Line of Control in Poonch district on Thursday, officials said.

They said the incident took place at around 1600 hours when the youth Mohammad Javed son of Mohammad Sharif Gujjar of Mohala Saki Wala Qasba was grazing his goats in forest area ahead of fence along LoC near his native village.  Immediately after sustaining injuries in the mine blast, Javed was rushed to treatment, they said.

A police official confirmed the injuries to the youth. v
