Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, Habbak organizes anti-polythene drive

Srinagar: To improve the living standards of the community and to make Earth a clean, green and pollution free planet, Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, Habbak organized an anti-polythene drive , aiming to reduce the use of plastic with the motto “Be the change”. The rally was flagged off by Mr Tariq Ahmad, Chairman of the institute wherein the students headed off to Shehr-e-khaas and vociferated slogans along with the posters and placards in hands to enlighten and urge the people for stopping the use of plastic for a more healthier environment. Mr Raja Zuhaib Tanvir, KPS, SP-North was Cheif guest and boosted the morale of students by joining the drive alongwith hounarable guests SDPO- Khanyar, SHO Nowhatta and SHO Khanyar. The students distributed environment friendly bags, removed the plastic waste from several places and created awareness among the general masses.
