Jammu, Aug 8: Two pilgrims were killed and another was when they were hit by shooting stones after returning from Shiv Khori cave shrine in the Reasi district, on Monday.

Official sources said that three pilgrims were returning after paying obeisance at the cave shrine when they were hit by shooting stones. Two of them identified as Sarwan Sahani, 45, son of Ram Singhar Sahani of Belghat Kajni in Gorakhpur U. and Nirmal Singh (17), a student, son of Ranjeet Singh of Khawas Rajouri died on the spot while third one Sahib Sahani (32), brother of Sarwan Sahani (one among the deceased) was injured and shifted to hospital for treatment.

A police officer confirmed the death of the two pilgrims and injuries to another. He said a case has been registered.
